About Us
Groom A Soul Foundation is a community-rooted non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable lives in Kakiri, Wakiso District, Uganda. Founded by the visionary duo Irene and Moses Kayemba, the foundation was born out of a shared passion for restoring dignity, hope, and purpose to those often overlooked by society.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that every individual—regardless of their background—possesses a “soul” that, when nurtured with love, education, and resources, can flourish and contribute meaningfully to the world.
Mission Statement
To empower and restore the dignity of vulnerable children and families in Kakiri by providing holistic education, spiritual mentorship, and sustainable livelihood skills that transform lives from the inside out.

Yes we have, while primary education may be accessible to some, the hidden costs (uniforms, books, lunch) often force children in Kakiri to drop out. Groom A Soul does charity to ensure that financial hardship does not steal a child’s right to learn and grow.
No, Groom A Soul is a Non-Government organziation that does charity to local people of Kakiri and other parts of Uganda with aims of bringing a brighter life to all vulnerable families.
